In the summer, you can see 30 feet down through its clear water.
In winter, it offers excellent skating from late November until March.
The lake is nine miles long, walled in by the Austrian Alps on both sides,
with a 25-kilometer groomed skating track running along the shore.
We'll spend seven nights at an inn within walking distance of the ice,
and eight days enjoying this beautiful narrow alpine valley.
Skating tours and races are scheduled each day. Or take a day off to go
alpine skiing, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing.
