Hypersonic skis are available with the optional Rottefella NIS Binding System. NIS features include:
Binding slides quickly and easily onto a pre-mounted track and locks in place. No ski drilling required.
Reposition your bindings forward, back, or right on balance point, in reponse to varying snow conditions.
Adjust the heel plate forward or back to fit any size boot.
In a crash, binding releases from track, avoiding skier injuries and ski damage.
Adult Race Skis
Hypersonic is the world's fastest, most stable ski, built with the most technically advanced materials, including a PMI Acrylic Core and a sintered P-Tex 4000E base impregnated with Cera-F fluorocarbon wax that resists absorption of dirt and debris. Edges are reinforced with epoxy to stay sharp in icy conditions.
An aggressive, torsionally rigid ski, Hypersonic has a triaxial lifter - a center ridge built on top of the ski that effectively distributes the skier's weight and effort along the entire length of the ski.
Three flavors of Skate: R (Regular); HP (hard packed snow) and SC (soft conditions).
Compared to Regular, HP has a higher carbon fiber content for extra stiffness,
while SC has less sidecut to give it more "float" in softer snow.
Three flavors of Classic: Cold, Wet and Multigrip Waxless (for snow at or near 32 degrees F/zero Celsius)

Suprasonic is the only mid-range racing ski worth looking at. Suprasonic has the Hypersonic's P-Tex 4000E racing base but without the Cera-F additive. Weight-wise the Suprasonic is comparable to high-end racing skis, but at a very affordable price.
