Nordic Skating Backpack.
This may look like an ordinary backpack, but it's not. Yes, it's lightweight (2½ pounds), and yes, it has a large carrying capacity (35 liters). But the resemblance to ordinary backpacks ends there.
The Lundhags Comet incorporates numerous safety features requested by Wild Skating tour leaders. It's for anyone who wants to help ensure their own safety and the safety of other skaters on the ice.
The Comet is the only backpack designed to double as a life preserver! The roomy main compartment is watertight, so you can fill it up with spare clothes and other essentials that add buoyancy and flotation.
Special straps secure the pack around your waist. Plus there are two outside mesh pockets for carrying Nordic Lifelines ("throw bags") in easy-to-reach locations.
